sscSSC CGL- Notification,Online Application, Call Letter, Result & Other Complete Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Common Graduate Level Exam (CGL) every year in two phases viz,. Combined Graduate Level Tier I and Combined Graduate Level Tier -II  for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ organisations.  Notification, Online Application, Eligibility Details, Selection Process, Exam Pattern, Exam Syllabus, Admit Card and other complete details regarding the SSC CGL Exam are given in the following table.

SSC CGL Eligibility Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level Examination Eligibility conditions are given below….

Eligibility Conditions:
Nationality/ Citizenship:A candidate must be either :
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit:  As as on 01-01-2014.

Examination Pattern: The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:
Tier -I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-III: Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.

Note-I: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
In Tier-II, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-II and 0.50 marks in Paper-I and Paper-III for each wrong answer.

1. Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination: Tier –I of the Combined Graduate level Examination will be common for all categories of posts.

2. Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination: Tier-II of the Combined Graduate Level Examination -2014 will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice and will be conducted over a period of two days.

Note I: Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts .Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler.

graduation level.
